My recent stay at Daven Haven Lodge & Cabins in Grand Lake was a tranquil retreat in the heart of nature. The cozy rustic décor and peaceful atmosphere of the 12 cabins afforded me and my furry companion the perfect home-away-from-home experience. Each cabin featured eclectic furnishings that blended seamlessly with the natural beauty surrounding the lodge.One of the standout features was the private entrance and fully equipped kitchen in each cottage, allowing for ultimate convenience and comfort during my stay. I particularly enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace in some cabins, adding a touch of warmth and coziness to the rustic charm.Despite a minor hiccup with the initial check-in process due to the owners being away, the warm hospitality and accommodating nature of the staff at the lodge made up for it. The attentive housekeeping ensured that the cabins were clean and welcoming, providing a relaxing environment to unwind after a day of exploring the nearby Lake Granby and the charming Village of Grand Lake.The proximity to the lake and the main part of town made it convenient for me to enjoy leisurely walks along the property and public access to the lake.
